The first step of the Kingdom Global strategy is to define the domains where we want to establish Kingdom Global Communities. The second step is to COVER THAT DOMAIN (territory) IN PRAYER. The purpose of the prayer calendar is to give guidance regarding prayer for our communities, cities, people groups and nations and to create unity in prayer all over the nations where people are praying for these communities, cities and nations.

Job 22:25-28 “… And make the Almighty your gold and [the Lord] your precious silver treasure, Then you will have delight in the Almighty, and you will lift up your face to God. You will make your prayer to Him, and He will hear you, and you will pay your vows. You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light [of God’s favor] shall shine upon your ways.”

The focus of our prayers is Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, our Mediator and King! Our prayers should deepen our relationship with God and increase our love for Him and our knowledge of Him.

The purpose of this calendar is not to get you into a religious ritual of praying everyday. No! It is to bring you face to face with the King of all Kings as He reveals Himself to you during your times of prayer.

Seek encounters with the Lord when you enter into times of prayer. When you pray the specific prayer for the day, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the heart of the Father and the character of Jesus in that Scripture.

I would advise you to keep a journal of the revelations that the Lord gives you during these times. Allow the Lord to come alive in your life as you enter on this prayer journey with Him.

Isa 56:7 “All these I will bring to My holy mountain and make them joyful in My house of prayer … for My house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”

Prayer is not only for those who feel that they have the gift of prayer or has been called to prayer and intercession. God says His house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations! If we are believers and we are part of God’s household, we are called to pray! Prayer is a JOY because it brings you face to face with the King of Kings and His presence will always bring joy even when you travail in prayer because you know the heavenly hosts respond when you pray!

Jer 1:12 “Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.”

John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”.

Jesus is the WORD. When I release the Word of God in prayer, I release Jesus Himself.

In Isaiah 55 verse 11 the Lord promises us that His Word will not return empty but it will fulfill the purpose that it was sent out for.

Jesus says in John 6 verse 63 that the words that He has spoken are ‘Spirit and Life’.

The Word of God is the TRUTH.

In John 15:26 the Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of TRUTH.

Therefore, when I declare the Word of God, I release Jesus, Who is the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit which is the Spirit of Truth.

Psalm 103:20 “Bless the LORD, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do His word, obeying the voice of His Word!”

The angels cannot fulfill the Word of God if it stays hidden in the Bible laying on your bedside table. The angels wait for you to put your voice to the Word of God! When we speak the Word of God the angles obey and do the Word of God.

Therefore, never again think that your prayers are not heard or are not powerful. The heavenly hosts are waiting for you to release the Word of God in prayers and declarations!

Matthew 18:19 “Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven”.

When all the Kingdom Communities across the nations use this prayer calendar, praying and declaring the same Scriptures on the same day, we come in agreement and in unity with one another as we stand before the Lord for His Kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven.

As we declare the Scriptures we plant the seeds of the Lord (Luke 8:11) into the fields (1 Cor 3:9) of our families, cities and nations and we can expect a Godly harvest!

We also sow those seeds into our own spirit which will cause your FAITH TO INCREASE.

Rom 10:17 “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ”.

As you pray these Scriptures every month, the Holy Spirit will unveil them and give you greater and deeper knowledge of the heart of God.

Very often people are shy to pray especially when they hear other people pray beautifully worded prayers. Praying the Scriptures keeps it simple but powerful because it comes straight from the heart of God.

This calendar is just a guideline to assist you in covering your domain in prayer, but always be open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit in your prayers. He might focus your heart on one aspect of the prayer guideline and then lead you into deep intercession regarding that aspect.

The daily portions of the calendar are divided up in four parts:

Prayer and Declaration

Praying the Scriptures is wielding the Sword of the Spirit.

Heb 4:12 “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

2. Thanksgiving

Based on Psalm 100:4-5 I believe it is imperative to start your prayers with thanksgiving and praise. This helps to focus your heart and attention on God and and it allows God to flood you with His love, life and light. Then you will look at your problems from a heavenly perspective and not from an earthly perspective.

3. Repentance

Sin gives the enemy a legal right in our lives and in our nations. The ability to repent given to us by God is to turn away from our wrong and wicked ways and step back into God’s ways for our lives. Jesus already died for our sins and gave us a position of righteousness in Christ. When we repent we take up our position of righteousness that was given to us, in faith.

Secondly, repentance removes the legal right of the enemy in our lives.

Therefore, I believe that we must be quick to repent and turn our hearts and our face back to Jesus and His ways for our lives.

4. Prayer and Declaration

I already explained the power of releasing the Word of God through prayer and declaration in the above section.

We need to learn to not only pray for ourselves but for our families, communities, cities and nations. This will enlarge your spirit to receive God’s love for those you pray for.

Do the repentance for YOURSELF where it applies and do the prayers and declarations over YOURSELF.

Do the repentance for your FAMILY where it applies and do the prayers and declarations over your FAMILY.

Do the repentance for your COMMUNITY where it applies and do the prayers and declarations over your COMMUNITY

Do the repentance for your CITY where it applies and do the prayers and declarations over your CITY

Do the repentance for your NATION where it applies and do the prayers and declarations over your NATION

This principle will be demonstrated on DAY 1. Just apply these same principles for the other days.
